This is video from inside a one of El Paso Water Utility’s sewer lines. At 17 seconds, the camera encounters a flow that has been dumping fats, oils, and grease down the drain. After it’s dumped down the drain, it hardens in the pipes and continues to grow until it eventually can cause a sewer overflow.
This is preventable by making sure you properly dispose of your fats, oils, and grease in the trash instead of down the drain!
